where it began
Within just four short weeks of her first day at Gaylord Opryland, founder Taylor Myers fell in love with the hospitality world. Watching the conference coordinators confidently control the chaos sparked a dream of entering the event industry herself.
When she finally received the opportunity to step into the event world, she knew she had found where she was meant to be. Over time, she developed an eye for design and a passion for creating events that were not only beautiful, but thoughtfully executed.
the missing piece
While working for an event rental company, Taylor began noticing a recurring disconnect. Clients were often navigating the planning process on their own, without the guidance or experience needed to understand what their event truly required. Others were bringing in a day-of coordinator, which caused unexpected last minute changes and costs. Taylor saw an opportunity to bridge that gap.
After working more than 300 events, she began to notice something that happened at almost every one: she found herself teaching someone how to properly set a table. She then came to the realization that she hadn’t always known how to do it either – she learned through experience and someone taking the time to teach her.
That experience became the foundation for Myers Refined.

Myers Refined was created to provide the guidance Taylor wished more clients had from the beginning: an experienced eye, thoughtful design, and tailored guidance, all working together to create an event that feels effortless and beautifully refined.
With a passion for events, a heart for education, and a lot of prayer, Myers Refined was born.

– Rental coordination and pickup/return of rentals, if preferred
– Alleviate stress by coming to you to set your tables on the day of (or before) your event with all of the details and rentals previously discussed
workshops & classes
– A fun way to bring a life skill to your event! We come to you to, prepared with everything we need, to teach you and your group how to properly set and style a table
– Event classes can include: learning how to create a tablescape, table centerpieces and a formal tea, cocktail creation or charcuterie building activation
